Privacy policy

Premion Capital Inc. ("Premion Capital", "we") is an alternative financing broker for small and medium-sized businesses. We connect businesses with private investor partners. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, with whom we share it, how long we keep it and what your rights are. It applies to premioncapital.com, to our forms (including those shown on Facebook and Instagram), to our communications and to our services.

It is written in accordance with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

Depending on the stage of your application, we may collect:

• Identity and contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number, preferred language.
• Business information: business name and registration number (NEQ), industry, time in business, approximate monthly revenue, requested amount, intended use of funds, existing financing, and anything you add in a message field.
• Documents provided for the review of your file: recent business bank statements, government ID, void cheque, current financing agreements, and any other document requested by an investor partner.
• Credit information: only after you sign our authorization document, a soft credit check (no impact on your score) may be performed by us or by an investor partner.
• Bank verification: if you consent, a secure connection to your business account through a bank verification provider may replace sending statements manually.
• Communications: the content of our exchanges by email, text message, Messenger or phone, and the follow-up notes on your file.
• Browsing and advertising data: pages viewed, source of the visit (ad, search), cookie identifiers, IP address, device and browser type.

Where this information comes from

• From you, when you fill in a form, write to us or speak with us.
• From your interactions with our ads on Facebook, Instagram or Google, when you choose to fill in a contact form there.
• From public registries, such as the Quebec enterprise register, to confirm that your business exists and who runs it.
• From our investor partners, while your file is being processed.

Why we use it

• To answer your request and call you back.
• To assess whether your business qualifies for our financing solutions.
• To prepare your file and present it to investor partners, only after your written authorization.
• To pass on the offers received, answer your questions and support the closing of the financing (documents, signature, verifications).
• To offer you, later on, a renewal or a new solution if your situation allows it. You can opt out of these communications at any time.
• To measure the effectiveness of our advertising and improve our site, in aggregate.
• To prevent fraud, secure our systems and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We never sell your personal information.

Consent and written authorization

By submitting a form, you consent to being contacted about your request by email, text message, Messenger or phone. No credit check is performed and no information is sent to an investor partner before you have signed our authorization document, which is sent to you for electronic signature. You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to information we are legally required to keep.

Automated communications

Some of our first messages (acknowledgement, reminder, document request) may be prepared or sent by automated tools, including assistants based on artificial intelligence, under the supervision of our team. No decision about your financing is made solely by automated means: every file is reviewed by a person, and the final decision rests with the investor partner. You can ask to speak with a person at any time. To stop receiving text messages, reply STOP; for any other communication, write to us.

Who we share it with

• Investor partners: with your written authorization, for the review of your file and the financing decision. Each partner is responsible for its own privacy practices, and any financing agreement is entered into directly between you and the partner.
• Service providers acting on our behalf and under our instructions: website hosting, customer relationship management, email and telephony, electronic signature, bank verification, automation and artificial intelligence tools, and advertising platforms (Meta, Google) to run and measure our ads.
• Authorities: where required by law or to assert our rights.

Transfers outside Quebec

Some of our providers host or process information outside Quebec, notably in the United States (customer relationship, email, electronic signature, advertising and artificial intelligence platforms). Before using these providers, we carry out the privacy impact assessment required by Law 25 and frame these transfers with contractual safeguards. By sending us your information, you are informed of this transfer outside Quebec.

Cookies and ad measurement

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate, measure traffic and evaluate our advertising campaigns:

• Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads: traffic measurement (anonymized IP address) and conversions from our Google ads.
• Meta tools (pixel and Conversions API): conversions from our Facebook and Instagram ads. Contact data sent for this purpose is hashed before being transmitted.

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings and manage your advertising preferences in your Google account and in your Facebook and Instagram settings. The site remains usable without non-essential cookies.

Retention

We keep your information for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then destroy or anonymize it securely. As a guide: files that led to a financing are kept for seven years after the last transaction, in line with our tax and accounting obligations; applications that did not lead to a financing are kept for three years after our last exchange, so that we can pick your file up again if you come back to us.

Security

We apply reasonable security measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the information: access limited to team members who need it, account authentication, encryption of data in transit, and logging of access and actions on files. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec and the persons concerned, and record it in our incident register.

Your rights

At any time, you may:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• withdraw your consent to its use or disclosure;
• ask that it no longer be disseminated, or that it be deleted, within the limits of the law;
• obtain, in a structured and commonly used technological format, the computerized information you provided to us;
• be informed of any automated processing concerning you and submit your observations.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@premioncapital.com describing your request. We will verify your identity and reply within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Minors

Our services are intended for businesses and their owners. We do not knowingly collect information from persons under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its update date. Any material change will be announced by a notice on the site.
